Diesel Mechanic - Waste Connections : Job Details

We're hiring a Diesel Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, parts replacement, and minor engine repairs on our fleet of garbage trucks. Work includes hydraulic and electrical systems. In this role, you'll also help keep the shop organized, and perform any additional duties as needed. This is a year-round, stable position with room to grow and enhance your skill set.

Location: Rayne, Louisiana

Job Type: Full Time Pay: $24 - 27/hour, depending on experience

Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 p.m. midnight. Every 3rd Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 50-60 hours/week.

What You Bring

• 3+ years' experience in diesel/heavy truck fleet maintenance
• Tool set
• Certifications are a plus
