Due to retirement, Cooperative Energy Company , one of the largest and most successful energy co-ops in the Midwest, is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join their team in the Sibley, IA area. If you have at least 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, a valid CDL, are looking for a long-term career, and able to pass a background check and drug screen , then this is an opportunity you need to explore! Essential duties/responsibilities:

• Overhaul and repair heavy duty engines including Caterpillar, Cummins, and Paccar engines.
• Repair clutches, transmissions, differentials, power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Install engines, transmissions, and other components.
• Interact with customers in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
• Provide instructions and guidance to helpers and apprentices as required.
• Maintain good customer relations and performance standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the shop area.
