Summary:

Performs the various diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures, quality control procedures and other ancillary job duties with the goal of providing the highest quality of appropriate imaging services possible in the most efficient and cost effective manner to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served by the Department of Imaging Services.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education:

High School diploma. Minimum of two years college credit highly desirable.

Completion of a one or two year ultrasound training program and/or equivalent on the job training required.

Experience: 1 - 2 years experience preferred.

License: Minimum requirement - RDMS eligibility within one year of full time employment, RDMS or RDMS eligibility preferred.
