The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist II will serve as a key member of the Department of Ophthalmology patient care team. In this role, the incumbent will perform all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of ophthalmic images and will be responsible for the care of the patient while in the imaging area.
Successful candidates will have at least 2 years' experience in an ophthalmology imaging setting with an ability to independently perform fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, corneal mapping, specular biomicroscopy, and flatbed scanning, while demonstrating a strong service orientation and an ability to learn new technical skills. In this role, the Specialist II can expect to refine their skills in fluorescein angiography, ICG angiography, slit lamp photography, MPI, confocal imaging, and side scanning, as well as to contribute to the development of new Specialists.
The Specialist II will work closely with providers as well as with other clinical and administrative staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience that contributes to positive health outcomes for patients and a work culture of Service-Oriented, Trust, Empathy, Safety, Inclusion, and Communication.
Job ResponsibilitiesHourly Rate Ranges: $29.71 - $35.65
Note: Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
