Job Description :

LaSalle is partnering with a Non-Profit Organization to find a Devops/Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. You will design, maintain, and scale their technical infrastructure to support mission-critical projects. This role will be pivotal in building automated systems, ensuring the stability of operations, and enabling development teams to innovate efficiently.

Devops/Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Automate deployment processes and build playbooks to ensure seamless integration of software and infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain tools for automated testing, infrastructure deployment, and operational monitoring
  • Proactively manage system performance, reliability, and security, including applying updates and patches
  • Act as the first point of contact for critical system issues, diagnosing and resolving outages and operational problems
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and processes
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of DevOps practices across the organization
  • Build scalable systems to support their future growth, including redundant and balanced cloud solutions
  • Design developer tooling to reduce manual tasks and improve productivity for the data and development teams
  • Work closely with developers and data analysts to understand needs and provide solutions that enhance workflow efficiency
  • Partner with external vendors as necessary to augment team capacity and technical expertise
Devops/Infrastructure Engineer Requirements:
  • Proven experience in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices
  • Experience with SaaS, data environments, or infrastructure providers (e.g., VPNs, CDNs) is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to design and maintain scalable systems
  • Experience with GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins (or equivalent), and modern automation tools
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar for infrastructure automation
  • Strong understanding of scripting, network fundamentals, hardware systems, containerization, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Digital Ocean)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex systems issues efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and is comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
