    • We're seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team as the number two DevOps hire, who will be responsible for service delivery, reliability, and scalability. This is a hands-on technical role focused on infrastructure-as-code implementation, automation, and ensuring system reliability. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, having the opportunity to grow and help shape our technical infrastructure.
What You Will Do
    • Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS Cloud.
    • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to reduce deployment time, improve code quality, and streamline release processes.
    • Maintain monitoring dashboards and monitor service health using tools like Grafana, CloudWatch, and Sentry.
    • Architect and maintain internal tools that help boost software engineering productivity and organizational security.
    • Create and deploy cloud resources using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
    • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members while participating in cross-functional initiatives.
Who You Are (Required):
    • 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
    • Proactively collaborate with engineers and staff engineers to architect solutions for tools/services applications.
    • An expert in cloud platforms with deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Helm, AWS CloudFormation).
    • Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
    • A skilled programmer comfortable with Python, Go, or Bash, particularly in implementing automation and tooling.
    • A strong communicator who can work effectively in ambiguous environments and collaborate across teams.
Who You Are (Preferred):
    • Shift-left practice; integrating security and test automation earlier in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
    • Experience building complex systems supporting 100,000+ users.
    • Prior experience with e-commerce systems and Shopify.
    • Background in team leadership or mentorship.
    • Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.

$140,000 - $140,000 a year The Pay Range, which consists of salary and commission, for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Complex Total Rewards offerings for employees.
