DevOps Engineer - Veracity : Job Details

Job Title : DevOps Engineer

Duration : 24 Months

Location : Charlotte, NC / Minneapolis, MN / Chandler, AZ - Hybrid Role

Day-to-Day :

• Focus on engineering work with minimal distractions.
• Participate in daily standups with the team.

Must Haves (and how they are used) :

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using GitHub, Jenkins, UCD, Harness, and Artifactory. Equivalent tools are acceptable.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle, including deploying Oracle databases and writing SQL queries. Not required to be an expert or DBA.
• Ability to move data within Oracle databases.
• Basic shell scripting skills, including Linux and PowerShell.
• Experience working in Agile environments, following Scrum or Kanban methodologies. The team uses Kanban.
• Experience with ServiceNow, specifically in managing change requests for production deployments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), OpenShift, and other cloud services.

Plusses :

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure is preferred.
• Previous experience with workflow automation, especially if involving ETL processes from a policy perspective.
• Experience in financial services is not necessary; focus is on technical skills.
