Staff DevOps Engineer

Apollo have partnered with a business tech start-up based in New York but open to hiring candidates fully remotely.

They are Series A funded, have already reached profitability and are growing extensionally. They are looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer to build their AWS infrastructure from almost greenfield.

Responsibilities of the Staff DevOps Engineer

• Build cloud-native infrastructure leveraging tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, AWS.
• Set up and continuously improve the company's observability infrastructure.
• Work closely with developers to establish a cutting edge developer experience.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions.

Requirements for the Staff DevOps Engineer

• 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering position.
• A relentless approach to ensuring platform reliability and performance.
• Specialist knowledge in at least one of following: Container Orchestration, CI/CD, Linux, Cloud and/or Networking
• Experience working in a cloud environment - ideally AWS.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language i.e Golang, Python etc
