Job Summary:

CTG, a Cegeka company, is seeking to fill a DevOps Application Consultant opening for their client in Chicago, IL. The role involves designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, developing Infrastructure as Code, and optimizing containerization strategies while collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support application development and deployment.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud and on-premises environments.

• Implement and optimize containerization strategies using Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery processes.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.

• Provide expert consulting and recommendations on DevOps best practices, tools, and technologies.

• Lead automation initiatives to enhance deployment speed, consistency, and scalability.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 10+ years of proven experience in DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC.

• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, enterprise-level cloud and containerized environments.

• Extensive background working with AWS and Kubernetes in production environments.

• Experience leading DevOps adoption and transformation projects.

• Strong expertise in DevOps methodologies, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Advanced skills in Kubernetes container orchestration and Docker containerization.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.

• Solid scripting abilities (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong collaboration, communication, and consulting abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
