Qualifications: Minimum of Associate's Degree-required Valid Driver's License with own transportation-required 2 years of current school-based experience Behavioral background experience-preferred Safety Care trained-preferred Role Overview: As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will work alongside certified Special Education Teachers to assist in supporting students with diverse learning needs by implementing inclusive and personalized educational plans that help them thrive both academically and emotionally. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development. Job Details: Dates: Starting August 11th for the whole school year Hours: 37.5 hours per week Setting: School setting Caseload: varies In-person only Key Responsibilities: Assisting with classroom instruction and offering one-on-one or small group support to students with disabilities. Helping to adapt educational materials and activities to meet the unique learning needs of students. Observing and managing student behavior to ensure a positive learning environment. Keeping records of student progress and behavior, as well as assisting with classroom management. Working with students who have various disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism, and emotional disturbances.
