This is a casual, grant funded position which is subject to renewal by 06/30/2026Due to business needs of the department, this position prefers proficiency in English and Spanish. Also driving is required.JOB SUMMARY (Dev. Specialist I):Under general supervision, provides clinical services (screening, assessment, treatment planning, and/or intervention support) for children. Provides educational information to patients, parents and families regarding their child's developmental needs. Responds differentially to children based upon the child's age, understanding of the child's developmental level/abilities/disabilities, and cultural considerations. Serves as a liaison with community referral sources including physicians – offices and/or other treatment professionals to facilitate clinical and treatment options. Provides marketing and administrative support to program by producing flyers, handouts, and training materials and entering documentation into the computer database.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in related discipline6 months of experience in field related to area of specialtyBLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHAComputer skills sufficient to perform data entry, electronic charting, production of educational materials, and word processingValid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance (if applicable)Preferred Qualifications:Additional education beyond undergraduate degree related to area of specialtyBilingual English/SpanishJOB SUMMARY (Dev. Enters service documentation into computer database.Minimum Qualifications:Master's Degree in related disciplineValid CA driver's license and auto insurance (if applicable)Two years of experienceCurrent BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHADemonstrated competency in varied treatment modalities for children with special needsComputer skills sufficient to perform data entry, electronic charting, production of educational materials, and word processingPreferred Qualifications:Three years of experienceBilingual English/SpanishThe current salary range for this position (Dev. Spec. I) is $25.47 to $35.03The current salary range for this position (Dev. Spec. II) is $28.09 to $38.62Rady Children's Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable. The range listed above does not represent the full salary range for the position but is the expected hiring range for qualified candidates.
