Position Summary: The Development Assistant will be the primary person responsible for database entry and generation of acknowledgement letters. Supports office functions of the Selfhelp Community Services Foundation, including management of files, routine correspondence, calendars, and telephone communications. Coordinates departmental mailings. Principal Responsibilities:
- Responsible for data entry for Bloomerang database, inputting donations and generating acknowledgement letters and reports.
- Coordinates mailings related to newsletters, annual reports, invitations, etc.
- Prepares routine departmental correspondence.
- Maintains departmental files and records.
- Preparation of check requests, purchase orders, and other internal forms.
- Performs routine office functions, including copying, faxing, mail distribution, monitors and orders office supplies.
- Answers and screens telephone calls as requested and maintains departmental appointment calendar.
- Compiles donor lists for Selfhelp's Annual Report.
- Works on special projects as needed.
- Perform duties as requested or assigned.
- Adhere to organization's standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including - but not limited to - Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regards to regulatory compliance or good business practices.
- Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.

Salary Ranges: $31.31 - $34.06 per hour commensurate with experience. Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience working with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, proficiency with fundraising databases a plus. Excellent computer skills using Microsoft 360. 5
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree preferred or equivalency of relevant experience.
- Ability to prioritize, juggle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Enthusiasm, high-energy, positive attitude, and having a sense of humor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
