Developer - Akkodis : Job Details

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Brooklyn, OH. This role involves designing integration solutions, documenting technical designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust middleware services. Rate Range: $45/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using SoftwareAG webMethods tools such as Integration Server, Designer, MWS, and Universal Messaging.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create high-level and detailed design documents for webMethods components and present them in technical meetings.
• Work with RDBMS systems like Oracle or SQL Server to support integration workflows.
• Utilize tools like SOAPUI and Kibana for testing and monitoring integration services.
• Support and enhance integrations with external systems such as mainframe, Salesforce, or Google Cloud, and optionally work with technologies like APIGEE, Java, or Kafka.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in webMethods development and integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with SoftwareAG tools including Integration Server, Designer, MWS, and Universal Messaging.
• Ability to create detailed design documents and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integration solutions; familiarity with SOAPUI and Kibana is a plus.
