Job Description :

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Chicago, IL. You will be responsible for building robust test frameworks and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality software delivery. Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer job responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, testers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve development processes and tools.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
