Primary Job Title: Developer - Software Engineer Location: Kent, WA(Onsite) Date Posted: 7/18/2025 Employment Type: Contract (5 months) Salary Range: $73.70/Hr Job Description: As part of a development team, you will use the latest architectures and technologies in AWS to accelerate the development and adoption of data-driven software capabilities across in service of mission and beyond. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Responsibilities:

• Member of a full-stack software development team (Scrum).
• Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across ***.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of multi-tenant SaaS applications for new and existing capabilities.
• Actively participate in the different Scrum ceremonies as a team member.
• Contribute to standards and best practices, and coach and mentor fellow and junior engineers.
• Deep dive into your users' problems and partner with product managers to find and create efficient solutions.
• Own software services for the supply chain.
• Work with the latest AI/machine learning models and integrate with the software stack for the supply chain.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Java or Python.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on data engineering and backend development.
• Experience working on a full-stack software development team in an agile development (Scrum preferred) environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering with relational and non-relational datastores.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and develop creative solutions to complex problems.
• A passion for innovation, learning, and sharing knowledge.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate Certification.
• Experience working in public clouds (AWS preferred) with infrastructure-as-code.
• Expertise in debugging, profiling, and improving application performance.
• Experience in the design and development of cloud-native solutions, microservices, and backend systems.
• Experience working with in-stream data processing using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technologies.
• Advanced-level SQL and scripting.
• Manufacturing and/or Aerospace experience.
• Experience with data-intensive applications.
