- Member of a full-stack software development team (Scrum).
- Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across ***.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of multi-tenant SaaS applications for new and existing capabilities.
- Actively participate in the different Scrum ceremonies as a team member.
- Contribute to standards and best practices, and coach and mentor fellow and junior engineers.
- Deep dive into your users' problems and partner with product managers to find and create efficient solutions.
- Own software services for the supply chain.
- Work with the latest AI/machine learning models and integrate with the software stack for the supply chain.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Java or Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on data engineering and backend development.
- Experience working on a full-stack software development team in an agile development (Scrum preferred) environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering with relational and non-relational datastores.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and develop creative solutions to complex problems.
- A passion for innovation, learning, and sharing knowledge.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate Certification.
- Experience working in public clouds (AWS preferred) with infrastructure-as-code.
- Expertise in debugging, profiling, and improving application performance.
- Experience in the design and development of cloud-native solutions, microservices, and backend systems.
- Experience working with in-stream data processing using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technologies.
- Advanced-level SQL and scripting.
- Manufacturing and/or Aerospace experience.
- Experience with data-intensive applications.
