Location: Scott AFB, ILRequired Clearance: SecretRequired Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fieldRequired Experience: Five+ (5+) years of relevant experienceDescriptionPingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dev/Ops Engineer to join our dynamic team. Dev/Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing complex IT systems that meet organizational needs and align with business goals. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership to guide the organization through the deployment of robust and scalable IT solutions.Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive architecture plans that integrate with existing infrastructure while anticipating future needs
• Create detailed blueprints for IT systems, encompassing hardware, software, networking, and security components
• Lead the deployment of IT solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
• Work closely with business leaders, project managers, and IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Engage with external vendors and partners to evaluate and integrate third-party solutions
• Develop and maintain a strategic IT roadmap that aligns with business objectives
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and IT team members
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential issues

Requirements

• Experience in system design and integration
• Strong project management skills and technical leadership
• Broad knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and systems engineering
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Implement best practices for system optimization, including performance tuning and capacity planning
• Ensure that IT solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Implement robust security measures to protect data and systems from threats
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities
