**Who You Are:**

You have excellent communication skills and can problem solve over the phone, in person or via email/chat. You thrive in a broad role where you might troubleshoot a printer and design the most effective way to deploy a new IT solution in the same day.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide on-site and remote support and maintenance of Cross Rivers various technologies. This includes installing, repairing, upgrading, replacing and maintaining hardware/software and peripheral equipment.

* Provide daily operational support for end user devices, peripherals and other related technologies that may be used daily and require hands on support.

* Support responsibilities include performing PC upgrades/replacements, equipment moves, hardware installations, technology configuration & deployment along with providing support for locally installed software solutions.

* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, responding quickly and efficiently to questions from employees

* Support servers and networking equipment

* Efficiently respond to and use a ticketing system

* Research and evaluate new products and services that help keep our IT environment current

* Provide local and remote support to employees as needed

* Help maintain an inventory of IT related equipment

* In addition to solving day to day issues, you'll be responsible for understanding why they occur and providing long-term solutions to prevent them from happening again.

* Suggest recommendations based on requests from various departments and locations, run the required research, and test various potential solutions on a global scale.

**Desired Skills and Experience:**

* 4+ years of experience troubleshooting a range of desktop/laptop computers, knowledge of Mac OS, Windows and Linux

* Experience Active Directory, Powershell, scripting, JSON and RoboCopy

* Windows and Office 365 Support

* Possess a no task too small attitude. You must be willing to move equipment around, work overtime or off hours from time to time, travel locally between sites or elsewhere for special events, and help set up when needed.

* Good Technical and Organization Skills

* Troubleshooting Skills & Analytical Skills (networks, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, access points, printers, and other devices)

* Inventory Management

* Experience with PC and Mac Functions

* Able to navigate Hyper-V and familiar with VMWARE server environments

* Prior experience in a Desktop Support role and the ability to manage your daily functions while assisting on projects and handling recurring tasks independently.

* Experience working with and assisting users of AV systems and event endpoints in a highly technical environment.

* A deep understanding of the usual OSs and endpoints - how to provision, deploy, and maintain them; what protects them; and the software that runs on them.

* Familiarity with endpoint management tools and / or modern MDM / UEM style tools.

* Experience working with collaboration tools, conferencing systems, remote IT tools, and ticketing systems is crucial.

* The ability to speak in technical and non-technical jargon, and translate both into comprehendible documentation and requirements company-wide.

* The ability to empathize with the end user and craft solutions to help them swiftly while under stress.

* An understanding of scripting, scripting languages, and how they can be used to deploy packages and automate tasks.

* Familiar with Microsoft Power Automate is a plus.
