Desktop Support Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Liberty, South Carolina. In this contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems, providing technical assistance, and resolving hardware and software issues. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktop systems, workstations, and related hardware to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues within Active Directory, including user accounts and permissions.
- Perform installations, configurations, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software, including Windows 10 and 11.
- Utilize imaging tools to deploy and update desktop systems efficiently.
- Respond to and resolve support tickets using a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
- Diagnose and repair hardware failures and software malfunctions on desktop devices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and resources.
- Conduct regular updates and patches to maintain security and system functionality.
- Offer guidance and training to end-users on system usage and troubleshooting.
- Document technical procedures, solutions, and updates for future reference.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in desktop support and workstation management.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, including user and group management.
- Proficiency in working with desktop hardware and imaging tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
- Experience using ticketing systems to track and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve both hardware and software problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with end-users and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document technical processes effectively.
