Deskside Support Analyst - Iowa Staffing : Job Details

Robert Half is looking for an IT Infrastructure Support Analyst professional for a permanent direct hire full time position for the Cedar Rapids - Iowa City - Muscatine Corridor. This individual will work for a small to medium sized client company who is a leader in their space. In this role you will apply your array of IT Infrastructure support and trouble-shooting skills ranging from desktop, hardware, software, networking, systems and more. Requirements:

• Consideration given to candidates with degree and 1+ year experience to non-degree candidates with 3+ years or more of experience in prior desktop support, network and or system experience: Windows XP/7/10, Server 2003 - 2016, DNS, CHCP, LAN, Networking, routers, switches, desktop support, hardware, software, other
• Must be self-directed, continuous learner, with good customer service skills
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or related IT roles.
• Proficiency in managing Windows operating systems including Windows XP, 7, and 10.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, networking hardware, and desktop imaging.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
• All candidates are required to undergo a review process and maintain a valid driving record.
• Technical knowledge of desktop hardware and workstation configurations.
