DESIGNER, PRINT & PATTERN - West Elm - Williams-Sonoma : Job Details

As a Print & Pattern Designer, you will create and develop original artwork for seasonal print and pattern collections for the West Elm brand. Reporting to the Head Design Manager, this role offers an opportunity to bring a distinctive and innovative perspective on print and pattern design that aligns with market trends and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design or related field.
• 5-7 years of textile design experience, preferably in home furnishings.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Skilled in hand drawing, painting, and creating original artwork.
• Experience with product development with factories is a plus; understanding of the full process from concept to commercialization.
• Knowledge of textiles, fabrications, printing, and manufacturing techniques.
• Refined taste level and strong sense of color.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Enthusiasm for the West Elm brand and its values.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

The starting pay range is $85,000 - $95,000, with actual compensation based on experience and other factors. Benefits and additional components may also be included.
