Designer/Drafter - First Tek : Job Details

Join our team in East Aurora, NY, a vibrant location known for its rich history and community spirit. Experience a supportive work environment while contributing to cutting-edge projects in the aerospace industry.

• Work closely with Design, Product, and Manufacturing engineering teams.
• Convert complex legacy 2D drawings into 3D solid models to support advanced manufacturing methods.
• Interpret a variety of drawings and layouts using our Computer Aided Design (CAD) System, Siemens Teamcenter, and NX.
• Generate solid models and necessary manufacturing information for Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) operations.
• Utilize CAD software proficiently.
• Report to the East Aurora actuation site engineering manager.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical major.
• 1-3 years of drafting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with User Defined Features (UDF) and GD&T is preferred.
• US Citizenship is required due to involvement with certain government programs.
• Valid driver's license and current state-required minimum vehicle insurance coverage.
