This position involves ensuring bug-free first silicon for IP designs, covering all phases of pre-silicon verification, including establishing DV methodology, developing test plans, creating verification environments, writing tests, debugging, coverage analysis, and sign-off for RTL freeze and tape-out.

Responsibilities
  • Develop verification methodology suitable for the IP, ensuring a scalable and portable environment.
  • Create verification environments with stimulus, checkers, assertions, trackers, and coverage components.
  • Develop verification plans for features, implement them, and debug test failures.
  • Track and report DV progress using metrics like bugs and coverage at block, IP, and SoC levels.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS degree in a technical field and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of OOP, SystemVerilog, and UVM.
  • Experience developing scalable and portable test-benches.
  • Proficiency with verification tools such as simulators, waveform viewers, automation, and coverage collection.
  • Experience with power-aware verification methodologies like UPF.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
  • Optional: Experience with serial protocols like PCIe or USB, parallel protocols like DDR, or formal verification methods.
