Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, Echo IT Solutions, Inc., is seeking a Design & Test Engineer (DCS/PLC/HMI) in Cranberry Township, PA 16066. This is a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and test programmable logic controls (PLC) used to automate control processes in power generation equipment such as turbines, generators, and boilers. Preferred PLC systems include Allen Bradley, ABB, Siemens, or others.
  • Design and implement distributed control systems (DCS) for industrial processes, with a preference for Honeywell Experion, Emerson Delta V, ABB, or Siemens.
  • Perform system testing, integration testing, and functional testing. Prepare test plans, datasheets, and reports.
  • Experience with Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), or Purchaser Acceptance Test (PAT) is a strong plus.
  • Possess electrical engineering background with 7+ years of experience in the nuclear power or power generation industry.
  • Knowledge of turbines (gas/steam) or other power generation equipment is required.
    • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
    • Experience with control logic, graphics, control narratives, and requirement management.
    • Knowledge of power generation equipment and systems.
