Overview of the Design Studio Specialist role

You will inspire customers to express themselves in their home, assist them in the shopping experience, and promote ongoing engagement with our brand.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with design consultations in-store and in-home, utilizing your expertise to drive sales.
  • Conduct in-home consultations, including measuring and assessing living spaces.
  • Create and present tailored design plans based on client needs and preferences.
  • Stay informed about current sales and promotions to meet sales goals.
  • Provide exemplary service with gift wrapping, registry, merchandise locating, and special orders.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
  • Criteria
    • Strong communication and customer follow-up skills.
    • Experience in managing large, complex orders across sales channels.
    • Design experience preferred.
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
    • 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, preferably in specialty retail.
    Physical Requirements
    • Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs. safely.
    • Open availability for full-time associates; part-time associates must be available on weekends and at least two weekdays.
