Design Intern - 11AM : Job Details

11AM is a leading artist management agency based in New York making strides in the rap and hip-hop space. We value collaboration, creativity, and a genuine passion for music.

We are seeking 1-2 interns, starting June 10 for 3 months with potential to extend.

The Intern(s) will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the music industry through supporting our management team with design-related tasks. The focus will be on creative needs including artist artwork, compiling creative contacts, video editing, and social media. The creative (photography, visuals, album/song artwork etc) surrounding an artist or a new release is the first thing audiences see, so this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and build a portfolio. Along with skills in design, the ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a collaborative energy, and an enthusiasm for music.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College students eligible to receive academic credit from your institution or a recent graduate
• An enthusiasm for music, especially rap/hip-hop
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent written, oral and communication skills
• Strong research skills
• An understanding of social media platforms and strategies for them
• Ability to meet deadlines and a formidable attention to detail
• Adobe Creative Suite proficient, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro (portfolio required)
• Can commit to 3 days per week

This internship is unpaid and interns must receive course credit, but we can provide a small travel stipend.
