We are seeking a highly skilled Design Integrator to join our New York City-based design-build team. This mid-level position plays a pivotal role in aligning architectural and engineering efforts with construction execution, with a focus on complex renovation and historic preservation projects. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Design Integrator will lead coordination between cross-functional teams, manage BIM/VDC processes, and ensure alignment with project budgets and schedules. The ideal candidate brings over 8 years of experience in design or construction management, deep familiarity with NYC agencies, and proficiency with design management software platforms. Experience with NYCHA projects and occupied facility renovations is a strong plus. This role requires excellent stakeholder communication, schedule awareness, and a proactive presence in both office and field environments .Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate design and construction phases, acting as the primary bridge between architecture, engineering, and field teams.Manage design development within project budget.Create schedules and cross functional meetings with design teams, subcontractors, and construction team as needed.Track and resolve design action items, RFIs and submittals.Lead BIM/VDC workflows (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) to resolve clashes, maintain model accuracy, and support schedule/estimate integration.Engage proactively with NYC agencies to secure design approvals, address comments, and track submissions.Emphasize renovation projects, including historic-preservation work on landmarked or occupied facilities.QualificationsRequired8+years of experience in Design or Construction ManagementPublic work experiencePreferred/plus factorsAssoc.
