KOMPAN U.S. is hiring a Design Department Coordinator to ensure efficient, accurate communication and delivery of design materials across departments, with a key focus on supporting sales.

In this role, you'll help team members collaborate effectively with the design department by guiding them through KOMPAN's project management tools and processes. This position will collaborate with both office-based teams (such as Pre-Sales, Project Coordination, and Install) — and field-based colleagues (including Project Managers and Sales Representatives).

For more than 50 years, KOMPAN has researched, designed, and built innovative and imaginative commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness sites that captivate all ages and abilities.

In collaboration with our global headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN designs, manufactures, and installs more than 1,000 sites a month across 90 different countries. Our North American headquarters, located in Austin, Texas, supports field sales around the U.S. and Canada.

What You'll Do

  • Review and validate all CRM case submissions to ensure complete and accurate information before assigning to design teams
  • Utilize case management tools, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM, to manage project flow efficiently
  • Coordinate with sales and other departments to gather missing details and update design requests as needed
  • Organize and file opportunities and design cases in the CRM system based on external partner email requests
  • Reassign and manage active cases when designers are unavailable, ensuring seamless project continuity
  • Continuously improve existing workflows, processes, templates, and standards for greater efficiency
  • Provide outstanding internal and external customer support through clear, proactive communication
  • Maintain strong organizational habits and attention to detail in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience using case management systems, with a strong preference for Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Ability to navigate various integrated software platforms
  • Preferred experience in reading and interpreting site plans, ensuring accuracy in scale and understanding of topographical features
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working directly with clients is a plus
  • Background in Architecture or Landscape Architecture industries is a plus

This position is based in North Austin and follows a hybrid work model.
