Saussy Burbank, a premier regional homebuilder, is seeking a Design Associate to join our Charlotte division. In this role, you'll collaborate with homebuyers to transform their vision into reality, guiding them through the design selection process with creativity, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:

• Guide Homebuyers: Partner with clients to select design options that reflect their unique tastes, budget, and lifestyle, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
• Spec Home Selections: Curate selections for speculative inventory homes, crafting market-ready designs that align with the latest trends.
• Custom Requests & Pricing: Efficiently manage customer requests for custom pricing and selection changes with precision and clarity.
• Product Development: Contribute to the development of specifications for new products or neighborhoods, driving innovative and competitive designs.
• Trend Awareness: Proactively evaluate and update selection options to stay at the forefront of interior design trends.
• Marketing Materials: Create visually appealing design books and product catalogs using Canva to showcase selections and enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Art, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in a similar role with a homebuilder or a strong background in interior design is desirable.
• Skills:
• Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively collaborate with sales teams, field managers, vendors, customers, and Realtors.
• Exceptional attention to detail to manage high volumes of selection paperwork and change orders accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Canva
• Attributes: Professional, mature demeanor with strong judgment, excellent presentation skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
• Availability: Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends and overtime as needed.
