We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic dermatology team in beautiful Fergus Falls, Minnesota. In this full-time role, you'll provide high-quality care to patients with a variety of skin conditions, working closely with dermatologists and a supportive healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Position Highlights
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm
- Option for a 4-4.5 day work week (36 patient contact hours/week for 1.0 FTE)
- Setting: Outpatient clinic - No nights, weekends, or holidays
- Procedures include: Biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, fine needle aspirations, and other common dermatologic treatments
- EMR: EPIC
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dermatologic assessments, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, infections, and skin cancers
- Perform in-office dermatologic procedures
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including prescription management and biologics
- Provide patient education and preventive care guidance
- Collaborate with dermatologists and other team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Minnesota NP license
- Certification in dermatology or relevant dermatology experience required
- Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting
