Position Overview

QinetiQ Inc. seeks a Deputy Program Manager to support integrating technologies for a fully airborne solution with primary RADAR and ELINT payloads within a robust C5ISR platform. This role supports our Global Surveillance portfolio, serving US Government and Allied customers.

Responsibilities

The Deputy Program Executive will support program execution through customer interactions and lead a senior systems engineering team alongside program management and supply chain teams. The role involves managing requirements, compliance, development, production, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex C5ISR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Provide technical interface to customers, develop system specifications, manage schedules, create reports, and support the full project lifecycle.
  • Technical Knowledge: Oversee large projects, develop design descriptions, participate in system and safety reviews, and evaluate sensor technologies.
  • Design Development: Approve designs, resolve engineering problems, participate in reviews, and research sensor capabilities.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare and support engineering documentation, manuals, and proposals.
  • Supply Chain: Support procurement, logistics, inventory, and sustainment activities for hardware and software materials.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Engineering or Technical field with 10+ years of relevant experience; or Master's with 7+ years.
  • Experience working OCONUS and with NATO partners.
  • Understanding of DoD airborne and ground systems, hardware, software, and operations.
  • Experience supporting radar or communication systems for air or ground platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
