Summary

This position is located in the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), Office of Mission Support (OMS). As a Deputy Inspector General for Mission Support (Chief Financial Officer), you will serve as the CFO to the Inspector General, supervising the OMS. OMS provides tools and infrastructure to support TIGTA's mission and business goals.

As a Deputy Inspector General for Mission Support (Chief Financial Officer), you will :

  • Lead and advise TIGTA on human resources, logistics, financial, and administrative matters.
  • Develop and oversee the TIGTA budget and financial plans.
  • Assess organizational progress and coordinate strategic objectives.
  • Supervise the Assistant Inspector General for Mission Support, overseeing human capital, learning and development, facilities, finances, procurement, security, and program management services.
  • Monitor organizational goals and progress.

Qualifications

By the closing date, you must demonstrate senior management leadership experience at or above GS-15 level, related to the skills in the Executive Qualifications (EQs) and Position Qualifications (PQs). Experience should be detailed in your responses, structured using the Challenge-Context-Action-Result (CCAR) model. Certification by a Qualifications Review Board (QRB) may be required prior to SES appointment. Provide proof of certification if applicable.

Responses are required for each EQ and PQ, limited to two pages each, addressing:
