Position: Deputy GENERAL MANAGER / Vice President to the CEO

Mission:
The Deputy General Manager / Vice President, US Operations will serve as the senior executive leader responsible for overseeing and executing Medimaps' US strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive commercial growth, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives to transition Medimaps from a single-terminal license sale to a SaaS-based enterprise model targeting health systems.
The role requires a proven leader with deep expertise in a variety of key functions, including enterprise sales, marketing, clinical collaboration, business development, and operations, within the US healthcare ecosystem.
IMPORTANT: The ideal candidate will have experience scaling companies in high-growth, early adoption phases and the ability to cross the chasm to mainstream adoption, especially for novel imaging and AI-based software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a US go-to-market strategy to expand adoption of Medimaps' TBS Fracture Risk Score SaaS platform at the enterprise level.
- Transition existing sales operations into a high-performing enterprise health system salesforce, providing mentorship and guiding recruitment for talent upgrades as necessary.
- Manage existing channel partnerships (e.g., GE Imaging) and identify opportunities for new partnerships to optimize market reach and revenue streams.
- Oversee all US sales activities, with a focus on shortening the enterprise sales cycle (9+ months) and building a scalable, repeatable revenue model.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for the sales team to drive hockey-stick growth in revenue.
- Support the account management team to exceed industry standards for client renewals using the collaboration between sales and account teams to grow and win new business with existing clients.
- Lead the transition of terminal-licensed clients to multi-year SaaS agreements as health system contracts are executed.
- Expand sales efforts to target Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Academic Medical Centers, and Enterprise Imaging Ecosystems.
Marketing & Thought Leadership
- Oversee US-based marketing staff to build awareness, generate leads, and promote clinical adoption among key stakeholders (providers, payers, patient societies).
- Collaborate with the Medical Science Liaison to publish and disseminate clinical evidence, elevate Medimaps' presence at conferences, and enhance product credibility.
Clinical & Pipeline Development Support
- Support clinical trial collaborations and strategic initiatives to launch pipeline products, including AI-based x-ray screening and surgical imaging overlays for orthopedic surgeons.
- Partner with the Medical Science Liaison and Clinical Support Staff to engage thought leaders and secure CPT reimbursement for new indications.
Business Development & Investor Relations
- Contribute to fundraising efforts, working closely with the Executive Team to secure the additional $20–$25M funding needed for the next growth phase.
- Identify and pursue US-based business development opportunities, including potential new channel partnerships.
Operational Leadership & Exit Strategy
- Build and scale operational efficiencies in alignment with the company's five-year exit strategy.
- Represent Medimaps in the US market as the face of the company to stakeholders, ensuring alignment between global and local goals.
What do you need to succeed?
Technical Capabilities:
- 15+ years of leadership experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or general management, preferably within the imaging, diagnostics, or SaaS sectors.
- Proven record of accomplishment of scaling enterprise-level sales teams and driving adoption of innovative technologies in the US healthcare market.
- Experience with fundraising and investor relations, particularly in early-growth companies with plans for strategic exits.
- Strong understanding of CPT reimbursement processes, clinical trial collaborations, and US health system operations.
- Advanced degree (PhD, MBA, MA in business or a related field), highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with US regulatory and compliance requirements for industry interactions with healthcare professionals, highly advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical skills and strategic thinking, with a proven track record in operational excellence.
- Expertise in new technologies, generative AI, Project Management tools, the MS Office suite, and familiarity with Salesforce and QMS are highly valued.
