This role delivers advanced and strategic support to the Director of Utilities, assisting on all issues pertaining to planning of activities, policies, budget, capital improvement, organization, and management. Supports department strategic planning, research, and oversight of complex projects including process improvement initiatives. Executes complex administrative and operational initiatives. Directs, manages, supervises and coordinates the activities and operations of the Utility Application Services, Customer Experience, Utility Billing and Utility Accounting Divisions including budget, human resources, purchasing, safety, workers' compensation, fiscal, records, and information systems programs and services. Supervises and directs assigned supervisory, professional, and administrative staff; collaborates and coordinates activities with other divisions, departments, and outside agencies to meet strategic goals and objectives of the Department of Utilities.
