Deputy Director of Housing - City of Alexandria Virginia : Job Details

Provides technical assistance to private and nonprofit developers to identify, secure, structure, and finance opportunities for affordable housing production or preservation;Provides critical financial analysis and prepares feasibility assessments regarding potential city projects;Reviews requests for HOF funding;Analyzes financing proposals and makes funding recommendations to the Alexandria Housing Affordability Advisory Committee (AHAAC} and city council (including preparing memos, docket items, spreadsheets/pro formas);In consultation with the City Attorney, negotiates and drafts legal agreements and loan documents;Provides leadership, technical/development support, and project coordination for Housing Alexandria (HALX), a city sponsored nonprofit housing development entity;Provides technical support to Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority (ARHA) through city collaboration initiative for its re/development projects, including planning, financing, community outreach, and l...Director, Housing, Deputy, Technical Support, Monitoring, Development
