About the Company

Our client is seeking a strategic operational leader who can act as a Deputy COO/Chief Administrative Officer, Ideal individual will have oversight of various areas of the organization including operations, administration, and IT. He/she will need to collaborate closely with business unit heads/strategy and growth leaders throughout the organization to ensure a cohesive approach to growth that maximizes the long-term value of the business.

About the Role

Select individual will play a critical role in overseeing the management and implementation of the corporate services, office administration, procurement, IT/Technology and business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization in the development and implementation of operating philosophies and business strategies.
  • Create and improve SOPs, workflows, and repeatable processes for increased efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop, implement and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating improvements.
  • Manage relationships with executives and department heads within the organization
  • Use performance measures and key statistics to encourage actions that produce positive trends, while seeking ways to mitigate negative trends.
  • Collaborate with Technology Group to address technical issues and enhance user experience while providing leadership and setting high standards for work deliverables.
  • Monitor, review, and analyze bids and quotes with vendors, including the negotiation of service agreements and contracts
  • Shape the long-term strategic direction of Procurement Services and Business Contracts to align with firms goals
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with external technology vendors and other valuable external partners.
  • Monitoring and acting on renewals, managing vendor relationships, identifying redundant vendors.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of innovation goals and progress.
  • Lead, own and facilitate the project prioritization process across corporate function for firm.
  • Ensure that the organization stays ahead of technological disruptions and can rapidly adapt to new developments.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving and action planning skills to improve internal and external operations.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA) strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Services/ Strategic Operations or a related field.
  • Strong and well-developed analytic, problem-solving and quantitative skill, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated people leadership / management.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to support the business's growth and profitability objectives.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in performing complex problem solving and business trade off decision analysis.
  • Results-orientation with an ability to take initiative, execute and complete deliverables in a timely manner.
