Job Description :
Perform as a member of the CMU Police Administrative Team in the establishment, review, integration, and achievement of agency goals, policies and procedures, and budget planning. Responsible for the operation of the CMU Police Department and Parking Services in the absence of the Chief of Police. Required Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent experience in police administration or another related field. Must be MCOLES certified or a certifiable police officer in the State of Michigan. Five years of law enforcement experience at a rank of Lieutenant or 10 years of law enforcement experience at a rank of Sergeant, at a college or university. At least five years of involvement in college/university threat assessment or behavioral intervention teams. Experience with ICS (incident command system), including operating in an EOC (emergency operations center). Experience with a state or nationally recognized law enforcement accreditation program.
