DEPUTY ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, ADULT SERVICES (WARDEN) - State of Rhode Island : Job Details

As assigned, to serve as Deputy Assistant Director at the Adult Correctional Institutions in such a capacity, to assist the Assistant Director in the administration of the States Adult Correctional system by managing the custodial and correctional services of the institutions under the general supervision of the Assistant Director. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the general supervision of the Assistant Director with considerable latitude for the exercise of judgement in the management of the custodial and correctional activities of the Adult Correctional Institutions; work is reviewed for soundness of judgement and for result obtained. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Plans, organizes and supervises the work of the staff of the Adult Correctional Institutions; gives general and specific instructions to Associate Deputy Directors and supervisors and reviews work of the staff through report, conferences, and inspections.
