We are seeking a Deployment Manager to lead and coordinate the installation, integration, and deployment of our advanced DSP and RF systems. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves collaborating with engineering, project management, and customer teams to deliver complex systems in demanding environments.
Job Description:
The Deployment Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the installation and deployment of DSP and RF systems for customer sites. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful system implementation, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in RF/DSP systems, project management skills, and experience deploying complex hardware and software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Deployment Planning & Execution:Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of DSP and RF system deployments from pre-installation to final acceptance.Lead site readiness assessments, ensuring customer locations meet technical requirements.Manage end-to-end deployment, including installation, configuration, integration, and testing.Ensure all logistics, including hardware shipments and personnel scheduling, are efficiently managed.Technical Leadership:Provide technical oversight during deployment, ensuring systems meet performance and compliance standards.Collaborate with engineering to customize deployments based on unique customer requirements.Troubleshoot RF systems, signal processing software, and hardware during field deployments.Ensure compliance with RF spectrum regulations and industry-specific standards.Project Management:Define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for each deployment.Manage resources and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.Document and track deployment progress, providing regular status updates to senior leadership.Mitigate risks by implementing contingency plans and addressing project roadblocks.Customer Collaboration & Support:Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during system deployments.Provide on-site and remote technical support during and after installations.Deliver training to customer teams on system operation and maintenance.Ensure a smooth handoff from deployment to ongoing operations and customer support teams.Requirements:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience:5+ years of experience in RF and DSP system deployment or related technical fields.Proven experience managing deployments of hardware/software in complex environments.Background in telecommunications, defense, or aerospace environments preferred.Technical Expertise:Deep understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and RF system architecture.Hands-on experience with RF equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, SDR platforms).Knowledge of Linux-based systems, IP networking, and software-defined radios (SDR).Familiarity with signal modulation/demodulation, waveform analysis, and communication protocols.Project Management Skills:Ability to develop detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery.Experience managing multi-site deployments and working across cross-functional teams.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).Soft Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical audiences.Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage high-pressure situations.Organizational skills and attention to detail for managing complex deployments.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with government contracts and classified environments.Understanding of MIL-STD-461, FCC regulations, and spectrum compliance.Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one).PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile certification.Arena Technical Resources, LLC, (ATR) is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) who will provide equal employment opportunity to employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, color, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, veteran status, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family structure, genetic information, or mental or physical disability.
