The Department of Art and Design at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites applications for a part-time, temporary faculty position for the Fall 2025 semester to serve as the Gallery Director. Duties:The Gallery Director is responsible for exhibitions in IUP's Kipp and Annex Galleries, including scheduling, installation, promotion and documentation. The Director chairs the gallery committee and coordinates regular committee meetings. Gallery committee solicits and selects external artists for exhibition. Kipp Gallery typically hosts 4-6 external exhibitions per academic year and the Annex Gallery hosts both internal and external exhibitions as determined by the committee. The Gallery director handles communication with exhibiting artists and handles installation or provides assistance to the artist depending on the needs of each show.. Prepares artist contracts, payment requisitions and annual budget requests.
