Department Aide - Dignity Health : Job Details

The incumbent is a member of the healthcare team who is accountable for patient care supportive services for a care team/unit(s) under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Department aide provides a variety of cleaning and support functions to maintain the department and equipment in a functional sanitary condition. May have access to or be required to distribute drugs, needles, or syringes from storage locations (such as large stock supplies, automated dispensing units, and other carts) to/within patient care areas or treatment carts as defined by hospital policy/procedure. Qualifications. Minimum Qualifications -Minimum of one year experience in the OR setting (EVS, transport, SPD). Directly comparable experience may be considered. Basic computer skills required.
