Key Responsibilities:
- Perform teeth cleaning, scaling, polishing, and preventive treatments (fluoride, sealants).
- Conduct oral health assessments, screen for dental disease and oral cancer, and report findings to dentists.
- Take and develop digital dental X-rays; assist dentists during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, diet, and disease prevention.
- Document all treatments and assessments accurately in patient records/EMR.
- Follow strict infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols.
- Support efficient clinic workflow and patient management.

Requirements Core Requirements & Experience:
- Licensed New York State Dental Hygienist.
- Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree).
- Strong clinical skills, including periodontal assessment, scaling, and preventive care.
- Experience with digital radiography and dental EMR/software systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar).
- Knowledge of infection control, sterilization procedures, and OSHA standards.
- Experience working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including those with dental anxiety or special needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with dentists and clinical staff.
