About Sun River Health:

We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) focused on improving the health and well-being of vulnerable populations, ensuring everyone receives the care they deserve.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine dental cleanings, effectively removing plaque, stains, and tartar.
• Administer dental prophylaxes and topical fluoride treatments, ensuring patient comfort and care.
• Take and expose X-rays under the guidance of a supervising dentist.
• Perform full mouth periodontal charting to assist in treatment planning.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including the importance of nutrition and tobacco cessation.
• Conduct visual oral health screenings for HeadStart and ABCD programs.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Valid New York State dental hygienist license.
• Current CPR Certification and a valid NYS driver's license.
• 0-4 years of dental hygiene experience; new graduates are welcome!
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Salary and Benefits:
