Minimum Qualifications

• Active dental hygienist license in Indiana and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental hygiene practices, procedures, and patient history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• A genuine desire to pursue continued learning and develop clinical skills to provide preventative care and dental health maintenance for patients
• Ability to meet clinical needs as determined by the office

Physical Requirements

• Capability to perform essential duties as assigned by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be available for individuals with disabilities.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing required
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally
• Willingness to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
