Dental Care Assistant - DOCS Health : Job Details

Are you a skilled Dental Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity? Join us in providing essential dental services to our Military Service members during their exams, treatment, and X-rays. This is a unique chance to work primarily on weekends, with occasional weekdays, in a dynamic environment.

We are dedicated to delivering health readiness services to ensure that our military force remains deployable. We work with the following branches:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dental services in a mobile environment.
• Perform Digital X-Rays (BW & PANO).
• Ensure sterilization of dental instruments.

Requirements:

• Active Dental Assistant Certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA).
• Active Radiology Certification.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Experience with 4-handed chair-side assisting.
• Familiarity with sterilization practices.
• Basic administrative skills.
• Previous experience working with military personnel is preferred.
• Proficient in computer programs.
• Weekend availability is a must!
