Dental Assistant - Part Time - FFP Management : Job Details

Position: Dental AssistantLocation: South JordanType: Part-Time Shift: Monday

• Hours: 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM
• Lunch: 1 hour

Tuesday (2nd & 3rd Tuesdays of each month)

• Hours: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
• Lunch: 1 hour

Wednesday (IV Days)

• Hours: 6:45 AM - 2:00 PM
• Lunch: No lunch - early out day

Thursday

• 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursdays:
  • Hours: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Lunch: 30 minutes
• 2nd & 4th Thursdays (Late Start):
  • Hours: 11:15 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Lunch: No formal break (straight through)
  • Note: May extend later during fall/winter - TBD

Friday (1st, 3rd, and 5th Fridays only)

• Hours: 7:45 AM - 2:00 PM
• Lunch: No lunch - early out day

This is a part-time position with a schedule that may vary slightly from week to week. Ideally, we're looking for someone who is available to work all of the shifts listed above. • Assist in dental procedure and sterilization processes
• Tray set-ups
• Professionally greet and engage with patients
• Provide clear instructions to patients and parents
• Take X-rays, photos, and impressions
• Keep operatories, sterilization areas, and surgical equipment clean, maintained, and well stocked

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: one year of dental and/or orthodontic experience (willing to train the right person)
• Professional verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport with patients, parents, doctors, and team members
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge or willingness to learn Dentrix Ascend and Sensei
