Dental Assistant - Upper Great Lakes Family Health : Job Details

Summary: Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care, assists providers with clinical and clerical duties, and maintains the dental clinic. Responsibilities, included but not limited to: Provides dental care and outreach in clinic and non-traditional settings. Prepares treatment rooms and patients for treatments, maintains dental instruments, equipment, and materials. Assists with routine clinic support activities by providing assistance to the dentists and hygienists during the patient treatment plan. Collects and documents patient intake data. Evidence of basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire. Certification from a recognized Dental Assistant Program or State of Michigan Registered Dental Assistant, preferred. Experience working as a dental assistant, preferred.
