Dental Assistant for Military Support - DOCS Health : Job Details

Exciting opportunity for dedicated Dental Assistants! We invite you to join our team in providing essential dental exams, treatments, and X-rays to our Military Service members.

This role primarily involves weekend work, with some occasional weekdays as needed. We focus on delivering health readiness services to maintain a deployable military force for various branches, including:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dental services in a mobile setting.
• Perform Digital X-Rays (BW & PANO).
• Ensure proper sterilization of dental instruments.

Requirements:

• Current Dental Assistant Certification in the state (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA).
• Active Radiology Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Proficient in 4-handed chair-side assisting.
• Experience in sterilization protocols.
• Competence in basic administrative functions.
• Previous experience working with military personnel is preferred.
• Strong proficiency with computer programs.
• Must be available on weekends.
