Demolition Specialist - Servpro : Job Details

Servpro of Sussex County is hiring Restoration Technicians. We are looking for people with construction/building knowledge to help our team perform necessary demolition to homes and businesses during a water damage and mitigation process. We go into many types of buildings with all different types of damages and the work includes demolition of many structures that are damaged or are needing removal due to moisture, etc. All technicians are hired by the Production Managers as needed per job assigned.

• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform production processes as directed.
• Documentation of job and work
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance

• Valid driver's license
• Experience with power tools

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
