- Analyze historical sales data, identify trends, and apply statistical models to improve forecast accuracy.
- Monitor sales trends, customer orders, and market data to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Support and actively contribute to the monthly S&OP process by preparing demand data, generating forecast reports, and participating in review meetings.
- Lead efforts to design, implement, and refine a new demand planning system and related workflows, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Place purchase orders directly with manufacturers, ensuring timely production and delivery aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Track forecast accuracy and performance metrics; identify gaps and recommend adjustments to optimize inventory levels.
- Assist with SKU management activities, including new product setups, changes, and phase-outs.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards for leadership to provide visibility into demand trends and forecast performance.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and special projects aimed at enhancing overall demand planning effectiveness.
