Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze historical demand, cleanse outliers/exceptions, identify the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm settings, develop an unconstrained base forecast plan, understand variance, propose improvement opportunities, communicate consensus, and incorporate demand signals into the forecast.
  • Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage forecast exceptions by utilizing demand planning tools and reports to identify areas of highest volatility and error.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Provide documented insights into forecast changes, growth rates, promotions, and distribution changes.
  • Work cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders, including merchants, vendors, and replenishment teams.
  • Present to cross-functional teams and leaders in weekly/monthly forecast alignment and milestone meetings; share forecast insights with financial planning and fulfillment teams on key trend shifts.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Operations Management, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
    • 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Merchandising, or a related field.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Analytics fields.
    • 1 year of experience demonstrating proficiency with demand planning and forecasting systems.
